Epicure Foundation
The Epicure Foundation awards grants of up to $5,000 and in-kind donation packs valued at $250, $500 and $750 to community initiatives across Canada supporting food security.

Evergreen
Evergreen is one of Canada’s leading funders of community and school greening projects.

McConnell Foundation
The Foundation’s current areas of focus and emerging initiatives include: Social Finance and Impact Investing, Sustainable Food Systems, Indigenous-Focused Philanthropy, Cities for People, and RECODE – catalyzing social innovation and entrepreneurship in higher education.

NutritionLink Grants

Nutrition Link Services Society funds activities that support food security projects through nutrition education and food skill building for vulnerable British Columbia residents.

Plan H – Healthy Communities Capacity Building Fund
The Healthy Communities Capacity Building Fund (The Fund) Round Three is for local governments in BC who are leading the way in creating the conditions that enable people healhty people and healthy places – in partnership with regional health authorities and other key community stakeholders

Horner Foundation
The Horner Foundation supports not for profit organizations to foster positive youth development through out of school time and experiential learning opportunities. The Foundation typically supports organizations working with middle and high school youth.

Real Estate Foundation British Columbia
The Foundation aims to transform land use attitudes and practices, thus contributing to resilient, healthy communities and natural environments.

United Way
There are over 100 United Ways Centraides across the country. Each Centraide raises money and allocates funds locally to support its community.

Vancity enviroFund
Vancity enviroFund grants support initiatives addressing local environmental issues in a positive, constructive and creative manner.

Vancouver Foundation

Three streams of granting available (Develop, Test & Grow) with different focuses and funding available for each.

Victoria Foundation
The Victoria Foundation grants in five key areas: Arts, Culture & Heritage, Community Services, Education, Environment, Health & Recreation.

Whole Kids Foundation
The School Garden Grant program provides a $2,000 monetary grant to a primary or secondary school, or a nonprofit working in partnership with a primary or secondary school to support a new or existing edible garden on school grounds.
